Founding Artistic Director
Originally hailing from Tampa, FL Kaitlin holds a BA from Florida State University and an MFA in Theatre Directing from the University of Essex (East-15 Acting School). She has 14 years of dance training including ballet and pointe, jazz, clogging, tap, modern, and hip-hop. She also studied Commedia Dell’arte under Paola Cavallin and had the privilege to train in Meyerhold’s Biomechanics at the prestigious GITIS Academy in Moscow. Since moving to London she has directed or assistant directed for the Camden, Brighton, and Edinburgh Fringe festivals, and freelance directed for several theatre companies both UK and USA based.

Justyna is a mum, a freelance dance teacher, and choreographer. She graduated from Middlesex University with a degree in choreography in 2009 and has worked in the UK, Poland, Japan, Germany, and South America. Her passion is making theatre using various art forms such as dance, live music, and visual arts; bringing people together and making theatre accessible to everyone. She started to collaborate with Théâtre Libre in 2009 and became an active member in 2012.
Jo Bunnell-Thompson originally hails from all over the eastern seaboard of America. With her Bachelor of the Arts Degree from Meredith College in hand she moved to London in 2006 to work in the great and wonderful West End. Since then she has worked for several theatre companies including House of Atreus (Théâtre Libre), Push (A Laughing Matter Productions), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Network Theatre), Rasputin (Second Skin Theatre), Lysistrata/The Bacchae (Théâtre Libre), Turner Plays (Red on Black Productions), and The Bedtime Stories (Green for Go). She works full-time at Flint Hire and Supply as the Sales Manager.
Ozlem works and lives in Istanbul. She is a freelance director, dramaturge and a full time PHD student. Currently she is teaching at Kadir Has University's theatre department in Istanbul. Her recent work includes By the Bog of Cats by Marina Carr, SAHNE, Istanbul, (translator and director), The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek by Naomi Wallace, Istanbul (translator and director), New Text New Theatre - Young Playwrights, Galataperform, Istanbul (director), Lysistrata The Lion and Unicorn Theatre, London, (dramaturge), The Bacchae The Lion and Unicorn Theatre, London, (dramaturge).
Rachael trained at Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance with a First Class Honours BA in Theatre Design. Rachael has experience designing and making sets and costumes for Theatre, Children's Theatre, Devised Theatre, Site Specific & Immersive Theatre, Opera & Events.

Rachael’s work varies within design to include: model making for theatre, film, and opera, scenic artistry & prop making, costume supervising and creating for events.

Jay lives in South Korea, where she works as a freelance designer, and co-founder and director of Champion Squad. With a background in management and marketing for the Korea Heritage Foundation, Jay met the Théâtre Libre team at Keochang International Festival of Theatre (KIFT), where she was working in 2013.
She has a Bachelor's degree in Visual Design and a Master's degree in Performing Arts Management.
Steph is a freelance Producer and Production Manager, who enjoys ambitious projects with inspirational creatives, resourceful tech teams and ingenious stage managers. Steph has worked with a variety of industry and production companies including Tonic Theatre, MAYK, Reading Fringe Festival, Theatre of Debate, Reading Between the Lines and Reading Rep, as well creating work with Working Birthday collective.
